Tasks
In order to complete each of the CCR tasks I had to use a range of online, softwares and hardwares to creatively display my year of work. Using my laptop as the hardware for each of these tasks was key as it allowed me to access everything and store it all in one place.
In order to stay up-to-date and maintain an organised workspace we used the online software 'Blogger'. This was useful as it meant all of the information I would need and have used was in one place and easily accessible from anywhere at any time. My consistent use of this meant that I didn't fall behind and I could clearly see how much work I had done. While we couldn't edit posts as a group we were able to share them between us to share the workload and ensure it was a collaborative effort.
CCR TASK 1 - Rather than creating a powerpoint, I used the software 'iMovie' to compile videos of our sequence and compare them to other sports/drama films. I also used the online software 'Powtoons' to create short videos introducing each section of the video. This was useful as it allowed me to show a different skill set to the other CCR tasks and allowed me to edit video, something I enjoy spending time on.
CCR TASK 2 - To complete this task I had to navigate the online software 'Piktochart',
something I had never used before. This allowed me to expand my skills and display my work clearly as I could easily section off different parts. It worked well for me as I feel overwhelmed if the information is just spread out, however, this allowed me to organise my thoughts and go in depth into the different components of my answer. I also used a gif maker to include certain examples from our sequence and this meant that they could play over as an image rather than having to select it each time
CCR TASK 3 - Once again this was an online software I had to explore for myself - 'Prezi'. I embedded blog links, videos, pictures and animations to create a cohesive and informative presentation to answer the questions clearly and in detail. The range in templates also allowed me to make it football themed to go with our sequence.
Lastly, using the online website maker 'Wix' for this final CCR TASK (4) means that I have explored a large variety of software, hardware and online technologies in the evaluation section of the course. As the other pages demonstrate, I have also used all 3 types of technologies in each stage of the production process to my advantage in order to create a successful final piece of work with my group.
